"Ultimately it is the paint that gives substance to the soul of the subjects that I choose to portray. Just as mucisians produce temperal compositions with sequintial unity, I try to paint thru measures that are often repeated with variations of color, values and shapes to arouse the emotions of the viewer. With Nature as my guide and relying heavily on my Higher Power, I am forever amazed at what I see when I look beyond the obvious."

My work reflects my love of the Old Masters.  I try to implement their techniques into my work by painting through measures that are often repeated with variations of color, value, and shape, like a musician produces compositions with sequential unity.  If you look beyond the obvious like I do when I paint, you will almost always find a message in my art.

I realize that my art will not change the world, but it will change me.  It will make me relevant and complete, and provide a legacy most essential to who I am and what I am about.
